Hi, I’m Allison —
the baker and recipe developer behind Little Hands Kitchen.
What started as a personal mission to make gluten-free food taste like the real thing quickly turned into a passion for testing, refining, and creating recipes people genuinely get excited about.
In 2023, five months pregnant with my second child, I was unexpectedly laid off from my marketing job. After the initial panic wore off, I asked myself one simple question: What now? The only answer that felt right was the kitchen — and building something meaningful while staying present with my kids during these fleeting early years.
Inspired by my boys (and their very honest taste buds), this brand grew into more than a recipe blog. Today, Little Hands Kitchen is focused on custom cupcakes, cakes, and desserts, alongside family-friendly meals and baking tips designed for real life. Everything I create is made from scratch with simple ingredients and bakery-level standards.
My goal is simple: to make better-for-you food that feels comforting, celebratory, and familiar — whether you’re baking for your family, hosting friends, or ordering something special for a milestone moment. If someone takes a bite and says, “Wait… this is gluten-free?” I know I’ve done my job.
I’m currently accepting orders for custom cupcakes, cakes, and desserts for local pickup in the South Sound area. Whether you’re planning a birthday, baby shower, party, or just want a treat that feels a little extra, I’ll help you create something beautiful, delicious, and totally gluten-free — without the “gluten-free taste.” I take a limited number of orders each week to keep everything consistent and fully from-scratch, so the best way to get on my calendar is to reach out early with your date, serving size, and any inspiration photos.
Coming soon: weekly menu drops on Instagram — limited-quantity treats you can claim fast, no custom order required.
When I’m not baking, you’ll find me chasing after my two boys, walking our golden retriever Ellie, or planning our next family adventure with my husband. I also share my favorite kitchen tools, baking essentials, and mom-life staples in my Amazon storefront — everything I recommend is something I genuinely use in my own kitchen.
If you’re here for gluten-free food that doesn’t feel like a compromise, you’re in the right place. And if you’d like to place an order, collaborate, or just say hi — I’d love to hear from you.
