Hi, I’m Allison —
Little Hands Kitchen began in my home kitchen — somewhere between nap times, postpartum depression, and late-night baking therapy. What started as a mission to make gluten-free food taste like the real thing quickly turned into an obsession with perfecting my cooking and baking skills.
In 2023, five months pregnant with my second child, I was unexpectedly laid off from my marketing job. After the initial panic, I found myself asking, “What now?” The only answer that felt right was the kitchen — and finding a way to spend as much time as possible with my kids while they’re still little.
That’s when Little Hands Kitchen came to life — inspired by my boys and fueled by the joy of watching friends and family say, “Wait... this is gluten-free?”
My mission is simple: to create better-for-you recipes and bakes that taste every bit as delicious as the “real” thing. Here, you’ll find family-friendly gluten-free recipes and simple meal ideas anyone can enjoy — no specialty diet required.
Today, I’m working toward my Washington State Cottage Food License so I can share those bakes with my local community — from custom cakes and cupcakes to gluten-free sourdough and seasonal favorites.
When I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll find me chasing after my two boys, walking our golden retriever Ellie, or brainstorming our next family adventure with my husband. You can also find me sharing my favorite kitchen tools and mom-life staples in my Amazon storefront — all things I actually use in my own kitchen.
